Liam James Payne  nacio el 29 de agosto de 1993 a la 1:00 pm  en Wolverhampton, Reino Unido, es cantante, compositor y guitarrista britanico,  miembro de One Direction su boca esta conformada por 30 dientes.

Su familia,  sus padres Geoff Payne y Karen Payne, y  es hermano menor de Ruth Payne y Nicola Payne. Cuando Liam nació, sufrio muchos problemas de salud, tras tres semanas de su nacimiento los doctores descubrieron que la causa del mal funcionamiento de su organismo es que solo uno de sus riñones funcionaba correctamente y para mantenerlo con vida debían colocarle treinta y dos inyecciones en el brazo durante el día y la noche. También declaró que sus primeros años de vida los pasó en el hospital. El día 27-6-12, el publico en su Twitter que gracias a alguien anónimo, ya tenia los dos riñones, el dijo que no hubiera aceptado que esa persona se lo diera así como así, ya que su novia, le intento dar su riñon unas 30 veces, pero no hubo manera, el dijo que le encantaría conocer a la chica o chico que le donó su riñon, ya que es muy importante para él, ya que a sufrido mucho.

Mientras estudiaba en la secundaria, Liam era víctima de bullying, por lo que decidió practicar boxeo. Posteriormente, estudió tecnología musical en la City of Wolverhampton de Wolverhampton.

 Al principio, Liam no aspiraba ser cantante, sino corredor olímpico. Sin embargo, decidió ser cantante luego de que se descubriese su talento en su escuela y que fuese rechazado para formar parte de un equipo olímpico.
